What type of stairs do you have?
This determines which nose pieces and return caps you need. Pick the option that best describes the sides of your staircase.
What flooring material are you working with?
We fabricate from the same planks you're installing. Bring your leftover planks or we can source the material if you give us the brand name.
What nose profile do you want?
The profile is the shape of the front edge of the step — what you see and feel when you walk down the stairs.
How many stairs need nosing?
Count each individual step — not the flights. If you have a landing that also needs a nose piece, add that to the count too.
For 12 stairs, bring approximately:
12 for the steps + 2 for machine setup

These are on the side of your flooring box or the manufacturer's website. If you don't have this, just bring the box or 2 sample planks — we'll measure at the shop.
7.5″ is a key threshold — planks wider than 7.5″ need only 1 board per nose. Narrower planks need 1 to 1.5 boards per nose.
This is on the end of your flooring box. Even just the brand name helps us.
