Yes — $95/tread vs. $75/tread for a single-side return kit. The extra cost reflects the additional fabrication of the second return cap. You also need slightly more plank material. For a 12-stair double-open staircase, the total fabrication cost is typically $1,140–$1,260 before delivery or installation.

For wider planks (7.5″ or more), a single plank can yield the nose piece and both return caps for one tread. For narrower planks, we may use separate pieces. Either way, everything comes from your same batch of flooring — so the color match is exact.
